Cameroon (Senegal)

I am an African born in Cameroon. I left my country six years ago to come to Senegal where I study veterinary sciences, and I became acquainted with the associative world while at secondary school through activities with clubs. As of this moment, for the last 3 years in my school, I have been engaging towards research of equity and a fairer and healthier world by becoming Peer Health Educator in the project "Entre nous jeunes" ("between us young people") which raises awareness of young people on early and undesirable pregnancies, sexually transmissible infections, and on HIV/AIDS.

Upon arrival in Senegal, the way is marked out and I engage directly at the sides of other young people who act for the wellbeing of people, poverty reduction, and against all forms of injustice. It is within these frameworks that jointly with my studies I am been working since 2002, advocating for poverty reduction and sustainable development.
